Nicholas E. Stone
MONTAGUE CENTER - Nicholas E. Stone, 18, of 38 West St. died Wednesday (1-10-07) at the Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Turners Falls.
He was born in Greenfield on Jan. 28, 1988, the son of Tracy and Pamela (Hill) Stone. He attended Turners Falls High School and received his GED on Jan. 19, 2005. He had been a resident of Montague Center most of his life.
Nick was self-employed in the drywall business.
He enjoyed dirt bike riding, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and playing poker.
Besides his parents of Montague Center, he leaves a brother, Alan Stone, at home; maternal grandmother, Mary Sanford of Winchester, N.H.; paternal grandparents, Ed and Dale Stone of Montague Center; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Whiting of Montague; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Stone of Montague, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the North Leverett Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl McConchie, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Leverett.
Calling hours at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 1 Kostanski Square, Turners Falls, will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
