DCRG Expo sold out!

The DC Rollergirls expo bout is sold out. All 800 tickets are gone. There will be no tickets available at the door. If you were planning to get tickets at the door, you're too late. Get tickets earlier next time :) There will be a bout every month, generally the last Saturday of the month. I might have posted the schedule already or will do it next ( Read more... )

I just read about the tickets being sold out - now I know for future reference to get tix ahead of time - thought that with 800 that there'd be plenty of tickets, just like you said - oh well! Hope the bout goes well, will try to catch another one another day!

What kind of venue is it? 800 is an awfully small house.

It's a sports complex, and we rented one big room (with balcony) which they split into 3 rooms to rent out as 3 courts. It didn't feel crowded, so I'm guessing the fire code covers all the people in the building, and they had to take that into account when giving us a certain number. There were other groups/people using the facility at the same time. The space inside was not a problem but there were a limited number of parking spaces and toilets.
