Why does nobody want me to..?

I want to go to college. Which is really surprising to me and a lot of people, because I really do not like school at all. And I'm being told to not go to college this semester. And that makes me want to cry. Nobody but my mom is wanting me to go to college. "Go later" or "Why there?" "Use your money for something else" is all they are saying. ( Read more... )

That's just lame. If college is something you want to do, don't let anybody stand in your way. And as for the college you want to go to, again, if that's what YOU want, go for it, babe. I say, screw them all. Go to college, Kris, get an excellent education, graduate with honors, and show them all just what you think of them, by getting a high paying job, and being happy, healthy, and successful. You deserve it.

Well, I don't know much about your family, Kris, but in your situation, it looks like they're afraid you'll be successful, they're afraid you'll be gone off to college and not be there when they need you do to something for them. I say screw it. If it's something you want to do, go for it and take out everyone that stands in your way.

Oh, but, that song sucks. So does JoJo for that matter. =/ Sorry babe, can't support you there.
