Update on my car situation

Since my car is so old the other insurance company said that they are probably going to end up paying me the value of the car instead of how much it is going to cost to fix it. They said it's because what it is going to cost to repair the vehicle is going to be more than what the car is worth. They did put me into a rental until all this gets

I'm guessing $2k. For one that is in excellent condition it would be around $4k. I'm still waiting for the person to come out to my house to do the estimate.

I'm very ready. So I have the rental for an indefinate amount of time since the earliest that they can come out is Wednesday. I'm supposed to have it until they fix the car or until they tell me that they are going to pay me the value of the car. Hey, maybe I'll drive up for a day since I'm only working 5 hours next week.
