I'm sitting there, minding my ER desk, going about my business, when a somewhat familiar, stately, smartly dressed woman walks through my ER doors (mind you, I've never met this woman, but I've spent enough time seeing her her photograph on the "list of notable faces" bulletin board next to the cafeteria for the past 6 years to know who she is).

HAHA. Nice. You always seem to have these real-life applications of Doctor Who situations - too bad none of your work friends are similarly obsessed with Doctor Who - they'd probably find their work environment a lot more enjoyable if they were in on the jokes. :p

There is the little matter of the fact that most of my summer job co-workers are over 50 and are more concerned with the rising cost of Maybeline than they are the rising cost of food &/or gasoline. Get some perspective ladies...none of our patients give a rat's ass whether the color mascara that you're wearing matches your socks when the squad brings them in to the ER.
