Under the cut for those who haven't seen yet..
1) Why is Dean such an ass? Considering the shit that he's done in his life, that Sammy has done and Dean is giving Cas the cold shoulder? Sorry but he is a total asshat in the opening scenes. It takes teddy bear Sammy to say "but it's Cas." That should be all that's needed. The Winchester brothers have been far from perfect and screwed up royally and Cas who has put his life on the line for them (let's see two death's so far and wanting to stay in Purgatory for his "sins"). Where is Dean's compassion and forgiveness? Does it only extend to Sammy? My God he's sounding more and more like John Winchester every day and not in a good way.
2) Cute scene follows to make up for the horrendous stick-up-his-butt Dean scene earlier with Cas looking for all of Dean's favorite foods and the Busty Asian Babes whatever magazine and his reaction finding out there was no pie in the store was hilarious. That somewhat made up for my major grump fest reaction to Dean being an asshat earlier.
3) OMG. Another Angel with another fucking plan. Yeah, I know he's not a Archangel with the end of the world planned but CAS HONEY haven't we been through this before. Every time you try to make things right it all goes to hell (pardon Crowley for the pun).
4) Likewise same old, same old for the girl to die. Come on Dean dumped Cas who might have helped. Stupid, stupid. The obligatory make Dean and Sam feel more guilt scene played out for the what is it now maybe 500th time. Getting old writers.
6) Ah, Abbadon (sp?) just from the previews you know she is going to kick some Crowley ass. After all, Crowley was a lowly crud scraper in the pit with the wit enough to stay out of Lucifer's way until the boys stuck him and Michael in the cage. Oh, I'm looking forward to a power female in charge of Hell which, I think, we'll see. After all, she was one of Lucifer's lieutenants so maybe she was one of the fallen angels? It's never mentioned in Supernatural (or, at least, I don't remember it) but didn't Lucifer and his supporters aka other angels fall with him in the first battle with Heaven? At least that's the way I remember it. So wouldn't a fallen angel be much more interesting than a twisted human turned demon aka Crowley? I just hope they keep Mark Sheppard on because he is just awesome. I assume he will as the counter force to Abbandon trying to get the boys to do (again) his dirty work so that he can take the helm of Hell again. At least that's my reading of the previews.
All in all a pretty decent set up for the finale
