Ooh, wonderful pictures! I miss London so. I really want to go there again for a visit sometime next year.

Yay Piz! Actually, last week I briefly met a guy who looked freakishly identical to the guy who plays Piz, all but his hair. I had trouble not staring.

I tracked you down and friended you on IJ, even though I'm using that minimally at the moment.

Well, you'll just have to come back to London some time soon :) I hope you do make it next year!
Piz!love :) Heee, that you saw that guy. I'd have trouble not staring too - but then maybe he gets that more often than you'd think? :)
Thanks for tracking me down on IJ. I realised I meant to put the links in as well, which would have been helpful, but I completely forgot. Doh!

Sorry the jobs a bit blah but Marylebone/Baker Street is a fantastic area to work in. Definitely one of my favourite parts of London.

Have a wonderful time in Switzerland and bring back some more great photos.

Marylebone is wonderful. There are some great places to eat and drink and Marylebone Village is great to walk down in the early evening. I like window shopping, though, because it's all tending toward the expensive side ;)
Thanks for your good wishes! I'm looking forward to going there. I've never been to Basel before.
And you and J have a great weekend too - with all your celebrations :)

writerconuk was fun, wasn't it?

It's lovely to see you posting again. Also, I'm on IJ and GJ as Glassdarkly. I'll friend you there. I keep meaning to post on IJ more often but really all I've done is use up the icon space (becuase you can never have too many icons).

WriterconUK was great fun - and it was lovely to see you again :)
The icon space at IJ and GJ are fantastic! I've already uploaded quite a few of earth_vexer's latest post of icons. I really loved the Spike/Dru ones she did :)
One of the fundamental laws of life: you can never have too many icons ;)

I completely agree. Also, nice Spike/Darla icon. I have one too.

The pictures look fab all squished into the middle column. I thought you'd set the camera on panorama and they were displaying vertically. I'm wondering if saving them from your page view will crop them like that.

Those pics of the humming birds were stunning - points at icon - I made icons for redsrule1 and yourlibrarian as well.

Writercon was great - it far exceeded my expectations and was worth all the angst and stress of organising it.

Save your money and have a look at Joox and TV links

I saw the icons you'd made for redsrule1 and yourlibrarian and was really impressed. There so amazing - and you can see all the shades of blues and greens in the wings. Just magical :)

I think I have to reset the sizing on them. We'll see if I do ;)

::hugs:: I realise it must have been hard for you guys. But it was such a success, I hope you all felt a good deal of pride at the end at how well it had gone and what good feedback you've all received :)
Thanks for the links to Joox and TVlinks. I'll take a look at them in depth later :)

Lovely pictures! I'm glad to hear that you're settling into your new home and had a blast at Writercon UK, though I'm sorry the new job is turning blah already. Perhaps you can replace it with a better one after a while.

I haven't done too much lately to link you to; I've posted a couple of short Firefly pieces here and here, but that's about it.

I'm glad you like the photos. The new job is ups and downs - mainly because I'm training at one job, but might get a more interesting one once my boss returns from holiday next week. So I'm just gritting my teeth at the moment and taking each day as it comes.
Thanks very much for your links to the Firefly fics. I'll take a look at them tomorrow hopefully :) I'm pleased that you're still writing fannishly - hopefully that will inspire you elsewhere :)
