Argh, no, there has to be more of this chapter! At least Annabelle knows who Lucas is now, but will he believe her love is real and not founded on pity? Wonderful job! Love the emotional tension. I hope there's more soon.

Glad you're still enjoying this fic.
There are a couple of updates left to wrap it up. I have to go back to my Guy fic "To Be Worthy" first, so as soon as the new chapter's posted I'm going to start working on Chapter 14 of A Voice in the Dark. I've already got it planned.

Definitely loved the chapter. So much that is coming inbetween Annabelle and Lucas. Can not wait to read more. :)

Hopefully, they'll be able to find their way back to each other. Annabelle will have to pluck up the courage necessary to tear down the walls that Lucas has built around him and teach him he's still worthy to be loved.

I wish I could say you'll get the conclusion in your Christmas stocking. Unfortunately, there are two chapters left and I have not only another fic to update but a holiday trip to the UK to plan by the end of the year..and lots of things to see to at home.

I'm a sucker for happy endings and one of the reasons I write fanfic is to try to provide my favourite characters with the love and joy they've been denied.So, just be patient and I'm going to make sure our favourite couple gets their well-deserved happiness.
