#32 River Cottage Roast Chicken After reading
The Amateur Gourmet enthuse about this recipe, I was sufficiently excited to rush out and buy a chicken. It was fine. A little too greasy and I shouldn't have been afraid of too much salt, but I can't say it knocked my socks off. I just am not that into roast chicken. I'm also starting to suspect that my oven might run cool, so I bought a thermometer today to test that theory. Really, it was tasty enough and very juicy, just not good enough to be better than my usual boneless chicken breasts.
