New Beginnings

Today is the beginning of a new era of hope and the rebuilding of our nation's integrity.  I was fortunate enough to watch the inauguration in the community room of where I work and I thought it was very appropriate place to do so.  As we all watched in awe many tears were silently shed as we shared the moments of greatness.  As corny as it sounds

It's not corny at all, and I agree... I wish I could bottle this feeling too - so much hope and happiness... and love and faith in humanity (which I have lacked for a long time). I am so excited to see where this brings us as a people and country, and I hope it is a new beginning for the whole world in a way. It's a little ethnocentric to think that the US can change/influence the world so dramatically.. but it has to start somewhere, why not here?

Anyway next time you tell me you're feeling blue I will bust out my "Obama" bottle and share a little with you! ;) (P.S. It *might* taste like wine!)
