The sign I spent way too much time on. I wanted it to say "democracy," but there just wasn't enough room. Peace it is! I am clearly home alone with way too much time on my hands.
The crowd is beginning to gather. I'm keeping my distance.
I finally get off the sidewalk and into the street. Also, Dan Choi is totally in this picture.
Are we marching? No, not yet.
Hey, that's the White House! (aka, we are approximately a block and a half from my office)
Taking pictures of myself while marching is not my strong suit.
The Capitol appears in the distance.

I found Smithies! I only got a picture with the Smith Democrats, but there were several groups.

At this point I was feeling pretty patriotic as I listened to "America The Beautiful" being butchered by the crowd.
