I'm back! Comiket rocked!
This is a scene from
Da Capo al Coda, a fic I reread too many times and have an unhealthy attachment to its dark!Harry. If you really haven't read it yet, you're really behind.
The rough draft was drawn in a cafe by the Ikebukuro station. I got to Tokyo at 6am after 8hrs of bus ride, and had to kill couple of hrs in the cafe. I hope the old lady sitting next to me didn't bother to look at the obscenity I scribbled. The painting was done in my hotel room, using the Copic markers I bought with
mneomosyne. Btw, huge thanks to Mnem who patiently answered my stupid questions and taught me a lot about artist tools and papers. I owe too many favors from you (and from other people as well. Will elaborate in my next post.)
For those who are interested, I was using Neutral Grey No.0-8 and a colorless blender for this. I think I'm gonna bring these markers with me every time I travel - they're portable, not space-consuming, and best of all, fun to work with.
I suppose I should stop rambling about some markers. Go read the fic!
