H/D fanart
This is drawn for my new fanzine cover.
(And here's the uncropped version. For some reason I always like my drawings uncropped.)
This is by far the biggest watercolor art I've worked with. I couldn't scan the pic in one go, and had to stitch the two scans together (which resulted in the ugly line on Harry's shoulder thanks to naadi for erasing that ugly line for me. *worships*). The part between Draco's face and Harry's arm got messed up. I couldn't think of the right way to paint that part anyway, so I let it go.
Medium: Watercolor and pencil on good and pricey extra-fine grain watercolor paper. Reference: photographs by Victor Skrebneski.
Need to go get more paper and perhaps color film to make title. I'm slowly killing myself doing this fanzine thing.
I worked pretty fast this time, and I'm quite happy about that. At this pace I should be able to do some more art during the weekend.
