1. Gift art for
jadis289:
young!Draco (G). Thank you very much for the snake!Draco.
This one is really sketchy, and I'm sorry I couldn't do something more elaborate. Hope you don't mind.
Medium: watercolor on Gasen postcard paper.
2. Gift art for
dartmouthtongue:
Harry (PG, for nudity). Thank you for the virtual rose you gifted me a while ago.
This Harry probably isn't enough to hit the spot, but I'm afraid my art would never do the job. :-) I hope the pic still looked okay.
Medium: watercolor on Gasen postcard paper.
I've been trying many different types of Gasen paper for e-tegami (hand-drawn letter). According to some website, Gasen paper (画仙紙) is the Japanese imitation of the Chinese ink-art paper. Each type has its own texture and soaks up water at a different rate. Brands also makes a difference.
My current addiction is doing sketches and experimenting on Gasen paper. I enjoy it way too much.
3. My muse is currently on vacation. I'm not in the mood to draw anything requiring too much concentration, or to use my brain in general. Maybe it's the weather - it's snowing out there. My brain must have been frozen when it started to snow couple days ago. It's a good day to clean the fridge, though. I can put everything in the fridge out on the balcony and take my time to disinfect the compartments.
