I haven't read this fic yet... but I've seen it recc'ed and I wanted to read it. Now it is imperative that I read it. I love Draco's expression in this...and not knowing what the plot is yet, I am actually wondering what Harry is thinking. Somehow, I fail to capture his thoughts in his face, and I wonder whether it is intentional....
I saw this picture when you first posted it, and it did something to me, and I went and read "Nightingale". Your illustration for this moment is awesome, and the author of the story truly is blessed. I don't know how you do it, but while Draco looks the adult he is physically, he still seems so painfully childlike, his tense posture, his trusting look to Harry, the fear/hope his whole body expresses. The painting of the snake, too, together with the fragility of Draco's right hand, Harry's hope that Draco yet still might remember - oh, knowing what is going on in this moment, makes this hard to take, but you really bring it alive. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that you chose to convey in this picture a sense of total trust and, yes, love, even though Harry's and Draco's relationship in this fic is one of the most conflicted I read. And I adore your Harry with glasses. Thanks so much for drawing this.
*deep, longing sigh* Oh. Sweetheart. I just can't get enough of your art. I adored that story, and I absolutely adored your piece as well. The hands (oh, your hands!), the hair, the jaws, the eyes...
...and oh, you're absolutely one of the sweetest, sweetest persons I know. It's almost funny, because all the words you say about me? I would so use to describe you. :D
