Hi I'm back! *waves hands*
At our most awesome meet-up last week
potteresque_ire had this fun idea of Stomach Acid!Draco and Stomach!Harry. Having stomach problem half of my life, I couldn't stop thinking about her prompt, so I wrote a poem on my return flight back home.
Since some people just can't write (*points to self*) I also drew art for it, in the hopes that the art would make the poem seem better.
I hope you enjoy,
potteresque_ire ♥
Title: FIRE IN THE BELLY (formerly Stomach!Harry/Stomach Acid!Draco)
Pairing: H/D, implicitly implied
Rating: G for poem, PG for art
Note: Thank you
furiosity for the speedy beta and wonderful advice. Thank you A for the excellent title ♥
--- FIRE IN THE BELLY ---
Burn
My heart
Unrelentingly
Snakelike, your grip
Twists around me
Like fluttering furling leaves
I hang on to the pain
This immobilizing pleasure
Erodes my pretenses
I’m breathless
While your sting corrupts me
I pray
Some day
This will turn into numbness
I pray
One day
We will forgive us
While you
Burn
My heart
--- end ---
Wow. This was fun. I'm not sure if I want to do it again, though. Writing to me is like trying to squeeze water out of a rock. It's so much easier just to pick up a pencil and draw.
