I was rec-ced the Mudhoney Trilogy a while ago, but didn't get to read it until last week. Boy I didn't know what I was missing. I'm not a huge fan of kinks, but the series have blown me away - the psychological journey that Harry went through in the stories has completed got me. I had Amare opened on me browser for an entire week for re-reading, because I am a hopeless romantic and it was the kiss scene that captured my heart.
Spare the Rod Part 3 - Amare (NC-17)
This was very, very hard to draw. First I went googling images of wounds and totally gagged myself, so the wounds were drawn with only memories of my own wounds as reference, which just didn't do. I wasn't happy with how the wounds looked, but that's probably the most I could do. The lack of good reference material also made coloring very difficult. I only wish I could do better, 'cuz the fic is amazing and I wanted to do it justice.
calanthe_fics, I hope the pic wasn't too disappointing. I wanted to express how much I was affected by the story, and instead of leaving you an incoherent review (which would only confuse you and myself), I chose to draw. I hope the pic would be sufficient to express my appreciation and gratitude.
