That is gorgeous, and yes, that kiss is what did it for me too. Wow.

Oh!!! That particular kiss is one of the profoundest moments I can remember from fanfic. Makes me tremble, it really does. It's a moment of such simple quietness that draws all its power from the much bolder acts that have gone before it, and I love the way your art captures that. It is indeed a quiet, profound scene you've drawn, and the marks on Draco's back are the visual presence of the act they've just shared, all the boundaries and taboos they've broken. I love the strength and physicality you've given Harry, and I always love your Draco, however you draw him. Thank you so much for bringing this to life.

Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on both the art and calanthe's story. The kiss is by far the most amazingly beautifully romantic scene I have ever read, and it has such impact because that kiss is like a pact between them, that from that moment they entrust their whole being to each other. The scene is almost sacred, and I just can't believe there's no fanart dedicated to that scene.

I'm very happy that Harry looked strong in the picture, as that's how I see him - he's strong, although a bit unsure about his feelings and Draco's. Draco's back didn't look as bruised as it's described in the story - I regret for not being about to portray that - but I'm relieve to hear that the marks are visible enough to remind viewers of the act not so long ago.

Thanks again! I'm very glad that you liked the art. :-)

Thank you very much for rec-cing ♥ This amazing story by Calanthe should be read by more people.

The scene was so beautiful and inspiring I just can't believe that nobody has ever drawn it out so far. If this art could bring people to read the fic I would consider myself a very successful fanartist.

Lovely watercolour as always - and as always I'm charmed by the way you paint hands. (Though gore is not my cup of tea, I still think this is a very beautiful picture.)
