Man, days like this I wish I was never here in Wyoming.  Days like this I long for days on the Colville NF, or kicking back on the Little Pend Oreille Wildlife Refuge...

What do you say when your supervisor doubts you?  Doubts the work you do?

Yes, the buildings in the photos I took 2 months ago ARE the same ones depicted in old FS photographs taken

There's other stuff too that's going on that makes me feel like she doesn't think I'm capable of doing anything. But this is just the latest, and I swear, I just wanted to leave work this afternoon!

Oops, sorry! FS means Forest Service. :-)

Also, I mentioned the CCC. They were the Civilian Conservation Corps that were part of Pres. Roosevelt's New Deal programs in the 30's to stimulate the economy during the Depression. Young, unemployed men between the ages of 18-24 were recruited to work on the national forests. They were paid $30 a month, but were required to send $25 of it back to their families. It was a 2 yr stint, but they could come back if they wanted to. Anyway, most of the buildings, ranger stations, campgrounds, picnic sites, roads, etc., that you see on the National Forests, were built by the CCC. It's a really cool legacy that they left us.
