We 2002ers have been graduated from high school for over two years now. It seems almost like yesterday, doesn't it? The reason I bring this up, basically, is because, I feel that college changes people so much (and so quickly) without them even realizing it. so...jen jen and i were talking the other day about college and how important the classroom learning is. and we decided that it's not as much as people make it out to be. when you find something in college that is more important to you than going to classes, then you've found the purpose of you going to college. for me, if i miss my morning class because i was up late with one of my residents talking, i'm ok with that cuz being a staff member means that much to me. jen is the president of an organiztion on campus, and she said that sometimes she doesn't go to class cuz she's working on something with that. finding a passion in college, whatever it may be, is what helps to propel you and will make you into something that a lecture hall won't.

I'm happy to hear that even RESPONSIBLE college kids think/act the same way.
