I had a dentist appointment the week before last, and it was awful.  I’ll spare you most of the details, but it was the worst one I’ve had since the time the dentist gave me too many drugs and I hurled in the car on the way home.  I will never understand why hygienists feel the need to lecture me about the problems with my teeth that aren’t my ( Read more... )

I did not, in fact, make it up. The fear of spelling mistakes can be very debilitating. For less than the price of a cup of coffee a day, you too can help put a stop to the needless suffering.

I went to my dentist for the first time in... 6 or so years, and they told me what a great job I was doing flossing and such... ha... they also told me I should come more often... hmfm.

I am pretty sure if I didn't have an appointment in 6 years, all of my teeth would have jumped ship a long time before that appointment.

AHA! They DO like the power! My hatred of lateness seems to overpower my hatred of dental appointments, so I am always on time. Good to know I am potentially saving myself extra pain by showing up promptly.
