1/Yup, of a 22 month old son. Many things, but mostly the sense that he's a continuation of our little family. It does really feel like we're a little unit. Jason was the first person where I'd ever seen us growing old together, so a child together seemed right. Before that, even in relationships, I'd always imagined I'd end up as 'crazy cat lady'. I may still, but now I'm planning to do that with company ( ... )

Thank you very much...that was very helpful. I do agree that no one has the right to criticise others when it comes to having kids!!

That said, the exception to that rule is when people, in this day and age, are having sex with no protection, and then are surprised when a child comes out of that union. There shouldn't be any excuse for that kind of ignorance. If you're old enough to be having sex, you should know the potential responsibilities that you need to have for your own health and your future. Those people should need a licence if they ignore that. If you don't want a child, you should be as near to 100% as you can that you're not going to happen. OK, accidents do happen, and people do get caught out, but then we're in this society, and at this time, which also provides choice if this should happen.

Hope this all helps :)

Ohh, and an addition to 1/ Snuggles at bedtime storytime, and the amazing connection you feel to this little being :)

1) Are you a mother? What do you enjoy about having children?

Yes to three children, single mum to them all. They do bring purpose to your life and enrich it with unconditional love and understanding.

2)Is there anything you dont enjoy about being a Mother?
Yes in the early years the sleepless nights can get to you and as above it can be a pain in the ass to find a trustworthy sitter.

3)Do you want to have children? If so why/why not?
N/A

4) Would you rather have a successful career or be a Mother?
I honestly think its possible to do both.

5) What do you think is a good age to start having children?
I had my first at 25 and my last one 8 months ago at 30 and i cant think of anything i needed or wished i had done before hand x
