So I was going through the schools directory, adding more schools and looking at things for fun, and I happened to go see Nebraska to see if, among other things, the UNL ISHS was listed. I'd seen you show up on some of the Highland Park listings, and then you showed up there, too, and as it turns out.. we went to HPMS in the same year, we've both studied with the U of N's high school, and you've attended Richland College, where my dad used to teach. o.O;;
And from the looks of it you're possibly an MK, as am I, and.. ha. It's just all very funny. And so I figure it would be a shame not to friend you, if I may.
hi small world. of course you can be added!! that's just insane. I'm not an MK, I was a civilian side army brat (nearly MK). but, wow. added. and can I say I'm jealous you're in scotland? I loved scotland. don't they have an american school/ international school there?
LJ seems to be acting funny, because it won't show your reply to comment, and it won't let me reply to my own, either. So I guess I'll just have to reply to what you said here.
It is insane, isn't it? ^^;;
As to the location, well, I'd be jealous of me if I were in Scotland, too. Sadly, I'm not. That's more of a reflection on where I want to be. I didn't really want to label myself as 'being from America,' so I don't have the fact that I'm currently living in North Carolina displayed. ^^ That and the fact that I like to give random locations when registering for things, and even when I ended up actually having people friend me and getting to know everyone and so on, I kept the Edinburgh location. Because it's nice to feel in some way like I'm in Scotland. *grins* Though it's mislead several people, but I still think that's better than having random people look at my profile and go 'Oh, another American.'
nod. I totally get that. makes perfect sense. (and you can't reply because i screen all these comments right afterwards usually cause otherwise there would be about five pages of comments)
hello there....i followed you here from expats and your info page makes you sound very, very interesting. and now that i see your little tiny "introduction" over there on the left, you sound even more interesting. i can relate to almost all the things you include...except for i'm not named lilly and i think i am probably a bit older than you :)
