In school as in life it is the lowest common

I hate hearing about this kind of thing. I'd like to see more parents really taking it to the next level-filing criminal charges for assault, filing lawsuits against the school and the individual teachers and administrators that turn a blind eye to this sort of violence. I can't push people out of my way at CVS, nor should I be able to, without fearing some real reprecussions. Even after Columbine we still don't take this kind of thing seriously.

We are looking at getting her into the Pagan Scouts. It is called Spiral Scouts. I know that doesn't stop the bullying at school, however, she may at least end up with some friends with some sense. Unfortuanly a huge amount of the bullying is coming from some kids in our neighborhood, so she has no one to play with.

That's awful. I'm glad you're taking it seriously. Everyone has the right to feel safe.

I think Spiral Scouts will be a really great place for her. It builds teamwork, friendships and long-lasting, unconditional relationships. And that's not even counting the spiritual connection most kids find in the Scouts.

~totally think it'll rock.
