So, I'll be getting my Wisdom Teeth taken out on January 4th...bad thing is that my bottom ones are impacted which means that they'll hafta cut into my gums and stuff. All in all, I'm not looking foward to this date...any advice for what I'll need post-op?

I had mine taken out not last summer but the summer before, and they put me to sleep to do it. My gums didn't swell up or anything after, so hopefully it'll be that easy for you. Good luck.

that's too bad kent. A few years ago i was supposed to get mine out said the dentist but the specialist man said that my dentist was a moron because they weren't in the way yet - well he might not have actually called my dentist a moron but i can be sure he was thinking it...

anyway it'll probably hurt a lot. :)

Oh no, I have to get mine taken out within a year, I think. And one of mine is sideways and all weird-like. Good luck! May you have many painkillers.
