It's been a really long time since I wrote it on here wouldn't you say? Well it's been a bumpy road and it is continuing to spiral every which way. I am finally leaving Tower Records! Whaoo! I really don't watch "Dawson's Creek", but I do have to confess that I thought VanDerBeek did a pretty good job as Pazu in CASTLE IN THE SKY. His voice DOES sound a little too old for his character, but I felt that he compensated for it by bringing appropriate enthusiasm and energy to the role. At least he wasn't boring like, say, Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman in the [i]Star Wars[/i] prequels; those two were dull, dull performances. VanderBeek and Paquin aren't the best voices in the [i]Castle[/i] dub, but they're still better than Christensen and Portman by far. Of course, both are upstaged by Leachman and Hamill; those two really made the dub for me.
