Poor neglected blog. The big "news" is that hubby and I are planning a one week whirlwind trip to the UK next month. We're going to London, with side trips to Suffolk (there's a memorial at an abandoned WWII airfield where my father's bomber group was stationed that we're going to visit) and Portsmouth (to see HMS Mary Rose and HMS Victory). Haha, your visit should be interesting - it's fluctuating between ridiculous, unseasonable warmth and record-breaking cold snaps (though even these are nothing to, say, New England's winters).

Have you been to the Tate London? Not the modern stuff, but the classical one. It's really good.

The only art museum I've been to is the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace (http://www.royalcollection.org.uk/default.asp?action=article&ID=32).

The Tate Britain http://www.tate.org.uk/britain/ - ooh, and there's a van Dyck exhibit beginning 2/18. Perfect! Thanks.
