Was she pregnant in the first picture? Because I would have never guessed.
(My sister's cat, on the other hand? Just magically had babies one day. Lithe little thing, and never showed. Of course, she also only had three kittens, which probably helped.)
Yep, both pictures taken today when I was bbsitting for my brother's sproglings. She hides it well when she's standing. Not so much when she lies down as down, she only has one pose: that one.
They have the food dish up so the dog cannot reach it. She was on the toilet begging me to fill the bowl. Though she looks it, she's obviously not quite ready to pop as they stop eating close to deliver time. I'm betting on at least 5 kittens. She's too huge to me just a couple.
Sure you could. It'd just take some careful introductions. Think of it as a learning experience for the kids. They get to learn how not to hurt a wee baby cat.
I should re-state that: Not for -Drake- at this age. He plays too rough sometimes and doesn't realise he's hurting people/animals. Vance and Lizzy can get away / call for help / etc. A kitten may not fare as well... there's other reasons not to get a cat right now too. Sigh. Wish we could, though... But we can't.
