What an exceptional remembrance! I loved "She was sparse with her hugs, but generous with her gravy" -- it conveys so much with so few words. I'm glad you added the pictures.

Now I'm hungry, and I wish I could have met your grandmother. This is a lovely ode to her just as she was, and all she had to teach if one was smart enough to learn.
