I read marlawentmad's story first, which I think is the best order for these two, because even though you think you know where this one is heading, you will be wrong-- so horribly WRONG!

I thought he was going to propose to her in that special spot, making her ruin the shoes he'd nagged her to buy (and didn't even pay for himself). But this is so much worse. :O

I sure hope her breakup comes in a public place, long before things wind up where Cal hopes they will. *shivers*
