About the TRADITIONS...
1. When do you put up the Christmas tree? Well ,traditions have changed with the coming of mom's husband, jimbo, and I'm not sure if we are going to have one. But we usually put one up around two weeks before xmas.
2. Real or Fake? all natural.
3. Use Lights? yes
4. Garland? um, i think so.
5. Theme or no theme? my mom, since her and my fassia divorced, likes this "white christmas" theme and everything is white/gold/red...but I like colors.
6. What kind of topper? An angel.
7. What's your favorite ornament(s)? There is one, it is from before I was born, but it is my favorite. It's the scruffy man (i guess...THE TRAMP) dog from lady and the tramp. LMAO. It was actually a Mcdonald's toy that my sister had gotten when she was like 6 (a year before i was born) and we have always had it on our tree. It sings, jingle bells, too. However, it recently broke, it wouldnt stop singing, so my sister and I tried to freeze it. Lol. That didnt work, so now...it doesn't sing, but I still love it. It reminds me of my fassia :D.
8. What does your tree skirt look like? its red with green trim, i think. It looks felt. And we have another one that is green with snowflakes falling with white/red trim lacey shiet.
9. Where do you put your tree? In the middle of the Bay window in the living room...usually.
10.Who decorates the tree? My mom and my sister, or my sister and I. Used to be more of a family thing, not now though.
11.What's "under" the tree? wrapped presents. The ones from "santa" used to go on these wicker chairs we had. But those are gone now :-( as are the unwrapped presents.
12.Do you put candy canes on your tree? if we have any.
About the FOODS...
1. What's your favorite Christmas cookie? my grandpa makes these rum ball things. LOL. I think those are the hit of the Cimeno XMas party (that my mom won't be attending this year). AHH. On my mom's side, my Auntie Marge makes these great chocolate chip ones, that she gives us in this tin can things.
2. Do you bake cookies and give them away? There are sometimes bake related donations at our church, but not anually.
3. Any "special" foods or candy that you only have at Christmas time? my grandpa's salad and homemade italian dressing. heheeh. it's good, but we have it every cimeno family gathering...but I'll say it's for xmas.
4. What do you eat on Christmas EVE? Ham at my house with my mom, sister, jim ,older sister and my auntie marge/uncle bruce..
5. What do you eat on Christmas Day? At my Aunt Joanne/Uncle Gary's house (dad's side) there is a big buffet with ham, turkey, lasanga, pastas, salads, all kinds of crap.
6. Do you like Eggnog? It's oki, but I only drink like two ounces of it. It's strong...and alot of calories.
7. Do you like candy canes? only the rainbow ones :D
About the DECORATIONS...
1. Where do you hang your stockings? above the fireplace
2. Do you put lights on your house? no, but maybe when i have my own place.
3. Got any outside lawn decorations? nope
4. Do you put up a nativity? usually
5. Do you hang mistletoe under the door? I think we've hung it in a doorway, before, long ago.
6. Got a wreath on your front door? no, on the side door, it's used more often.
7. How long does it take you to decorate? not long.
About the MOVIES / SHOWS...
1. Favorite Children's Christmas TV show/cartoon? A Charlie Brown Christmas :D, there is another one, too. It's black and white and has a guy making toys and dressing as santa for this ophranage. I'm pretty sure it's black and white, either that or like sepia.
2. Which is best Wonderful Life / Miracle on 34th Street / A Christmas Carol (Scrooge)? The muppet's Christmas Carol. "we're marley and marley. boaoaoaoaoao"
3. Favorite Christmas movie? Hey! I luv A Christmas Story, but I must say The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite. LOL. Does it count? if not, then either a Christmas Story or The Muppet's A Christmas Carol.
4. Have you ever seen the Nutcracker Suite Ballet live? nooope
5. Ever been to the Radio City Music Hall Christmas show? no
6. Ever gone to the movies on Christmas Day? Noo, the day after, though. lol
7. Did you know it's the biggest day of the box-office? oh really

1. Favorite Christmas book or story? How The Grinch Stole Christmas
2. Do you stuff your stockings with any types of food? Wrapped candy
3. Do you go to church on Christmas or Christmas Eve? Midnight Mass
4. Have you ever gone caroling? Usually every year
5. Favorite Christmas song? Mr. Grinch, but I am also fond of Nsync's The Only Gift
6. Do you "believe" in Santa? I wish I was still a little kid!
7. When did you stop believing in Santa? I'm not sure, i saw my mom up one night. I think it is just something you learn sometimes as you get older. There was no definite shock involved.
8. Do you leave Santa cookies? Yes
9. What about Rudolph, leave him anything? Celery...for the reindeer. My favorite is Vixen anyways (the second youngest...next to Rudolph)
10. What was your best Christmas gift? Perhaps the portable cd player I am using now that I got two-three years ago. I'm pretty sure it was three, but it's not that old. I think it's still current/stylish...it has that thirty second without skipping stuff. I just think I would die in my house without it. I can't stand to listen to anyone's bullshiet. I also got a telescope (a cheesy kid one lol) and a stuffed Buzz Aldrin doll when
I was 8. I loved them. I was always destined for Nasa. *sigh*
11. What was the worst or most odd gift? My mom gave me a pair of Tims (uhh timberland boots...lol if you dont know what Tims are) last year. I mean, I have two others that I've had for two years and I've kept them in good condition (except one black mark on the china nelly blue ones..from swalsh), but these ones were soo ugly. They were this color blue...that I have nothing to match them with. I feel really bad, I havent worn them.
12. Do you go to a "work" Christmas party? I don't work.

14.Do you send Christmas cards (handmade or bought)? I am this year...personally. My family did it before.
15.When do you start shopping? Whenever I see something that I think fits...and if I have money. I don't work...yet...so I don't really get gifts, I make cards and make gifts sometimes. I think it's better that way, too. I can go into a whole thing on how the youth shouldnt have to work now and it only adds to our stress, but i'll save that for another time.
16.Do you shop on Black Friday? I haven't.
