I am sure you did!
I am also sure that the time spent was much needed, and will be more evident as time unfolds!

Our ward has around 50 kids in primary, about 25 in nursery and another 15 that are under 18 months old each week. It's hard to hear anything at times. I miss the days when I first started going to church with my wife at a YSA ward and ther were ZERO children. I was able to pay attention to everything that was said.

I've been in one of those "good morning" wards before. I didn't know whether to be happy because people were so nice or gag. Since we were at church I went for being happy.

"Since we were at church I went for being happy."

That was Zach and my conclusion as well. It just totally caught us off gaurd... like 100%. I thought they were gonna bust out the cheerleaders any minute!

Your ward sounds like our old ward. I think I am going to enjoy the silence for a bit, but it also means that when they call us to talk, that the attention will only be on the speaker! *gulps*

i got a quick jab the first time it happened from zach, which didnt help my "laughter reflex."

I have only known my ward in Mankato and then Zachs parents ward in Nebraska, so I was feeling a bit sheltered at that moment.

It wasnt too bad until the guy sitting next to us stood to bear his testimony and made everyone say "Good Morning" louder because as he put it, "We are the MIlwaukee City Branch!"

I guess we have to "represent" or somethin.
