Things really were better back then weren't they? There were less things we had to worry about and the things we did worry about went away without bring us down on our feet. The problem is that whenever we reflect back on our lives, we remember the good things far better than they were and the bad things far worst than they could have ever been because our memories like to play tricks on us. Whatever we remember now, is not exactly as how it was then, the truth behind our memories are cluttered by the fact that we are even thinking back. For whatever reason we do look back, say you are bored and lonely one night, it will just stray away from the truth. Maybe this will explain better than I can
