I love the Phedre series :) I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Me too. Phedre's story was awesome. I though Imriel's story was ok, with the first book being really boring. The second and third books were good. I was really enjoyed Moirim's story. I'm a friend of Jacqueline Carey on Facebook, she's working on Naamah's Curse right now! I totally can't wait.

I'm halfway through The Constant Princess by Phillipa Gregory and it's really well-written, really absorbing, so although I've not read her others, they're probably good! It's sad though! This one is about Katherine of Aragon so it's not even as tragic a story as the some of the others. I kind of really want to read Innocent Traitor because I'm interested in Lady Jane Grey but I know that's going to be heartbreaking.

But if you want something short and easy next, the the Hobbit would probably be best XD

I love Alison Weir and recommend all of her books. Since you've got a lot of historical fiction on your list, you'd probably like Katherine by Anya Seton. It's along the same lines as Phillipa Gregory (fictional accounts of true happenings) but SO MUCH BETTER.

The Hobbit is short and easy, but totally fun. I feel you on Ice and Fire- I always need something easy to read afterward, just to clear away the emotional heaviness.
