Well, the board I'm on is tied to Le Thrung in Canada, who is working on Project Aiko (a parody to the anime name Project A-Ko) I don't care for the skin used on Aiko ver 1.0, and think the Der series looks more realistic, but Aiko has a better AI. http://www.projectaiko.com/

NOTE: The Aiko Ver 1.0 in the above video was completely luck that Le had filmed her cosplaying as Chi for a local con. The voice in Japanese sounds better than the Canadian English voice which is going to be replaced in version 2.0
BTW: Spread the word about Aiko, Le isn't super rich and he has no corporate funding. Everything he has done has been with donations. He was inspired to make Aiko by Chobits and another mech anime.
