i'm pretty damn miserable right now. somehow managed to get strep throat on monday-- woke up with a fever of 101 and i still haven't been able to shake it, even despite the antibiotics they prescribed me. they gave me the "z-pack" which apparently works in five days.... behold the miracle of modern medicine ( Read more... )

So how weird was it sitting in a theater with your dad, staring at Dr. Manhattan's big blue glowing wiener?

Hahaha! Actually me, Melissa and Jennifer (the older sister) sat together while mom and dad sat up top somewhere in the theater (we couldn't find 5 seats together because it was THAT packed)... needless to say when Dr. Manhattan first came on the screen not wearing anything, the three of us figured my mom probably freaked out.

We joked about our parents being the oldest people there... and getting added "awesome points" for being there.
