It's already started snowing! Yayy! Alrighty so according to what I've been hearing this is supposed to be one heck of a snow storm, so if this craps out I'm going to be sooo mad. I really don't want to have school tomorrow! I love snowdays!!! Here are some forecasts.....
According to Weather Bug--> Now: Snow will continue to fall through the late evening hours. Intensities will range from light to occasionally moderate with isolated heavy rates of fall. This will mean some locations will see 1 inch per hour rates through 11 PM. Temperatures have remained at or just below the freezing mark so snow is now expected to continue accumulating on area roads. Travel this evening is discouraged due to deteriorating road conditions.
Tonight: Snow...heavy at times...tapering off to light snow after midnight. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times this evening. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches. Brisk with lows in the mid 20s. Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph.
Tomorrow: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow. Highs in the mid 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph...becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
So far things are looking pretty good, veryy good chances of no school. ;-)
According to CtWeather--> Tonight: WINTER STORM WARNING Cloudy with snow, heavy at times. Blowing and drifting snow reducing visibility to near zero. Lows 26-28. Winds Northeast to North 15-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph
Tomorrow: Cloudy with snow in the morning, tapering off to snow showers by midday. Windy with blowing and drifting snow. Highs 32-35. Winds: Northwest to West 10-20 mph TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION: 7-12 inches.
