I finished book 7 last night and have resurfaced. I have been avoiding the internet and social gatherings for nearly a week for fear of spoilers. No Otakon this year, nor did I attend the Buffy Musical showing, but I did make it to Artscape, which was just around the corner from my apartment

My mom totally saw the people waiting for the Buffy thing, and tried to describe it to me, but I was left with absolutely no idea what was going on. Thanks for clearing that one up. :)

Yeah, the Buffy Musical ala Rocky Horror. I totally wanted to go, but I am afraid of assholes who might spoil the book. It's a form of terrorism, really. I feel unsafe going about my daily business.

I got on the metro on Saturday afternoon reading the book and felt slightly paranoid. All that actually happened was I had conversations with people who hadn't read it yet or with people about how many people they'd seen reading it on the metro so far.
