2007 Retrospective
I've done this meme for the last 3 years, so why stop now?
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Sang karaoke
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't do new year's resolutions. If something is important to do, start immediately. Don't wait until Jan 1.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A college buddy
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Jane Lawton, my friend's mother, my mother's friend, our county delegate, and the most gracious hostess to all our high school parties. I'll miss you terribly.
5. What countries did you visit?
Japan, and I'm still checking airfare to Spain for a flight tomorrow...just in case ;-)
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you didn't have in 2007?
More time (and money) with which to travel
7. What date(s) from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 12, the last day at my grandparents' house in New Hampshire before their move to assisted living.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting the AME position at Shakespeare. Also, replacing the axels on my car :-)
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not planning a wedding
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
The usual bumps, bruises, and tragically broken nails at work
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Plane tickets to Japan and California. Also, our HDTV and surround sound is pretty fancy :-)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Chris got a raise! Emilie ran her first marathon! Lou and Cathy got married! Ariel and Nick got married!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Our president.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and car insurance
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to Japan!

Commuting

I slept in and woke up at Chris' parents' house, drove to Baltimore and back, and then saw a movie with Brian. (My family was all in Spain and I couldn't go because of work)

Every morning when I see Chris

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Project Runway, or Flip that House
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No. I've been surprised to have been disappointed by some people, but not hate.

Dragonforce

An awesome place to live in Baltimore!
29. What did you want and not get?
A biodisel flying car.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Hot Fuzz or National Tresaure 2 That movie is made of win.

I postponed my 26th birthday due to extenuating circumstances. (See also question 4)

A personal chaufeur
