Holy cow! I am amazed that Gretchen is going to be 6 months old tomorrow! I still feel the shock and awe that Chris and I brought such an awesome child into the world, and the fact that she's been with us for this long already is just amazing. Before we know it, we'll be having another, then Gretchen will be starting school, and then they'll all ( Read more... )

YAY! 6 months! it's a fun time in baby year. They seem to be learning so much so fast during that time. Pretty soon she'll be walking and then it's watch out world! My little destructors both have a cold right now, but it doesn't slow them down much. I hope potty training, when the time comes, goes easier for you than it has been for me.

It's just crazy how fast she's growing up. I feel like I just had her, and now she's over doubled in size and is just squirmy as can be! I know she's just about ready to start moving around--she gets really upset when she's on the floor for too long because she can't move around. She tries so hard to scoot around on her back, but she's not *quite* able to get anywhere yet. And her feet are always kicking! I think that the moment she starts to figure out walking, she's going to start running everywhere. :)

We'll see how potty training will go--we'll probably be having kid #2 right after Gretchen turns 2. I have a feeling that she's not going to want to learn to use the potty when the new sibling gets to wear diapers. :P

I still can't believe how old Andrew and Katie are! It seems like you and Jake had just gotten married... I know it's cliche, but time definitely goes by faster as you get older. Before we know it, we'll all be retired and have grandkids!! :)

yeah, seems like time is just flying sometimes. Andrew will be 5 and going into Kindgarten in the fall I guess...very exciting. they do integrated classrooms here and it seems to be a much better experience for him than being with a small group of kids that are below his ability instead. Katie is excited to get started in preschool this fall too...we would have started her now but they didn't have any openings for her age group, the classes were all full.

I've never heard of an "integrated classroom," what's that?
