Gretchen now has 3 teeth--another bottom tooth poked its way out over the weekend. I think the opposing bottom tooth will be appearing forthwith. We're a bit surprised that her top teeth have decided to remain incognito. Eventually, they will show themselves

It'll be fun to see the movie and get food. Mom told me you got to see The Lion King not too long ago--how was it? I am so excited for mom to visit. I think I call her about 2x a week to chatter at her. It will be so great to be able to do it in person AND get hugs!! :)

We've been talking about having a date night for about a month now. Since most of the time we just hang out at our friends' place or at home, it's not a big deal, but it's going to be SO AWESOME to have dinner at a sit down place for a change. I don't think we've done that since September or so... and we won't be doing that again until Gretchen can handle eating people food on her own... so another few months, I bet

I'm sure you are enjoying time with your mom right now! My parents were just here. Sucks when you live so far away - you just don't get to see them often enough. Josie is old enough now that she likes to call them to talk to them and they love every minute! I hope Gretchen was feeling better before she arrived.

I love watching them learn new tricks and how excited they get to perform them over and over. It is just adorable!

Anyway - I hope the date was good. We went to sit down places a lot with Josie, but Kaylee is a bit crazy so we don't go often with the kids anymore unless there is someplace for her to run around. We get dates though because I trade babysitting with another mom. We put the kids to bed and then the other person just sits at the house and watches TV while the kids are asleep. It's nice because we get to see movies again! I missed them... now I think Kaylee is getting interested enough that we'll be able to start going with the kids to kids' movies. :D
