Why am I stuck on something I can never have? Why is it that I am unable to get over something that happened such a long time ago? Why do I feel like I have to RUN away from it instead of facing my fear and expressing what it is that is on my mind

san francisco is fantastic. the weather is SO nice (if you like it foggy and chilly) and if you want to work in gender/gay arena, you can't choose a better place to study.

The only sucky thing about california (especially sf) is the cost of living! it kills me!

In reference to the above...although iowa may not be much of a gender/gay area, the cost of living is very very manageable...and besides, im here...and you know that if you left va, ley would be soon to follow!
