For those of you that don't know, Todd and I are formally announcing our engagement today. We have been engaged since Jan 21 of this year.

Date set for July 2010!!!!

I proposed to him. We're both getting engagement rings. Anything I'm missing?

Awwwww! We ordered my ring today, have a date set (again), and have been planning marriage since December 2007. :) Remember that it's easy for things to come up and get in the way, and sometimes the date has to be reset, but that doesn't mean anything bad and don't take it personally. We've had to change dates twice now because life right now comes before a ceremony months or a year or two from now.

Have you decide on how many people you want or a budget? I strongly suggest not worshiping the wedding communities here on LJ. Some of them are full of bridezillas obsessed with how to get the most presents and not have to make sure vendors are fed. The

We have two budgets... one for us paying for all of it, and one if his parents will chip in. And we'll be happy with either.

I've noticed that the wedding communities have a gazillion posts a day. But I definitely like 2010_weddings. Its just the right size.

Don't have rings quiiiite yet... I didn't want to propose to him and get him a ring he didn't like, but we have them picked out, so I guess I can include an obligatory ring pic =]

Original date was March 14 of this year, then December 5th, now March 14th of next year. ARGH! Forever away.

I picked a ring for Cody, a titanium band with two black rings around it. He wears it on his right hand. He'll officially propose at some point he won't say when. We're doing this all backward. :)

Colors are dark teal and silver. Planning on chocolate cheescake for the wedding cake.
