I'm feeling so relieved! The check is in the bank, and I can rest easy for awhile now. As soon as the check clears, we'll make another large deposit for Valle Vista (our reception site). Dude. WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FUTON??? Bud and I are looking for a futon/couch thing, and we're being cheap about it. Craigslist hasn't had any good leads for a while now. Any advice?

eBay from a store called Modern Expressions. They also have an online website (modern-expressions.com). They've got free shipping with all their stuff.

We really wanted a futon/couch/sleeper that would be functional in college but would also look good in our grad school apartment. That one was a bit more expensive (we completed the transaction off eBay so we got a discount) total including shipping was $690. We want it to last awhile.

Walmart/Target is always a good basic place to start if you're looking for futons in the $100-200 range. (Craigslist sucks out here.)
