Ok, not gonna lie, contractions are probably the worst pain you will feel. That being said an epidural is the most amazing thing ever and you really do not feel anything at all. Plus all the cliches are true, when all is said and done you forget the pain and all your attention is on your little miracle. It really is all worth. I was scared to death of the pain too, but looking back it was a wonderful experience.

all I can say is ow ow ow ow ow. I hate needles! So even the epidural is a not-so-fun sounding process.

haha, but it is sooooooooo worth it, and they numb you for that, so you can't feel it or see it.
