Ok, not at ALL what I was expecting, given your past works, but oh, so good. First I laughed out loud at the whole "You're naked!" scene- especially the little towel remark. Then I found myself sitting on the floor and crying, especially the part where Donna reflects that nothing's changed: no one has ever listened to her, alive or dead.

It's those little powerhouse observations you always make that leave me hungry for more.

Thanks for giving me a break from cleaning. I sorely needed it and I'm looking forward to more ghostly presences.

Thanks so much -- glad I made you laugh! I'm having fun taking the random prompts from tumblr! Not at all what I would think to write, either, and I'm having trouble letting go and just writing (I make things too complicated and write myself into corners), but at least it's making me try new things. The original prompt was for Ten/Donna but, when I started writing that, I realized I needed backstory and Nine was better for that. But OH GOD, I really have such a hard time with him because I wasn't ever really a Nine fan (nothing against him, but Ten is my Doctor.)

It's like pulling teeth, but at least it looks like people are enjoying it! I'll be trying to close the loop on this one as soon as possible!

Oh my gosh I am loving this. It's pretty tragic, but at the same time funny and her getting along with the Tardis is just perfect. I can't wait for more!

And why is part of me wondering if Donna will get a little more direct in pointing out Rose's... thoughts? And not in a way that Rose would like?

Hahahaha -- I do know where it's going, but whether I'll end up changing my mind halfway through is another matter! I have the end written, like I always do...it's just everything in the middle that is the problem. Glad you're reading, as always, and it's always a pleasure to hear your thoughts on it!

I feel so bad for Donna though. It's got to be really depressing to be so alone. No wonder she connecting with the Doctor.

Thank you kindly! I've always thought that being a ghost would be really fun if you could haunt people. But what if you really can't interact? Then it would be soooo booooring and sad. Being in the TARDIS is giving her a little more umph, so we'll see how that works out for her!

But I would that that if you were a ghost and couldn't interact, that would be boring, but also very frustrating. I hope Donna can find soils in the TARDIS... and maybe if the 10th Doctor pops up, he can help her out. ;)
