Shawn and his family came over today to visit for awhile. They were astounded by the size of our house, which is bigger than the average american home, even. We went out to eat noodles, and walked around the market place. There were live frogs, headless chickens, live tadpoles, fish, baby chickens dyed different colors. It was just...so damn sad

I love reading your journal! It amazes me that one can be scared and fearless at the same time. I am proud of you. You know your own mind. I know people more than twice your age that don't. It is fortuitous that you have such open minded parents (dad is saying--who's opened minded?) that support you in everything you do and everything you want to become.
