Drinking complimentary local coffee in my room at the Hotel Aranjuez in Downtown San Jose (Costa Rica, not California), I can’t help but hear Dionne Warwick in my head, gently singing to me, wondering how I got here. Soon after breakfast, my wife and I will return the rental car and take that long, heavy flight back to the States

thanks for sharing. coincidently, H has the day off from school today, May 19th. i am happy about this because it gives him a chance to reflect too.
