Oh radio, why did i listen?

The first time i heard this song was the other day, i was waiting to pick up my friend, sitting in my dad's car listening to the radio. the lyrics caught me hard, and even just the opening lyrics tore at my heart. i'm not in any relationship to relate to song literally, but at the same time i really feel for what Bruno Mars is trying to say.

This is how I feel most of my relationships go, friendship or otherwise :/

It hurt a lot when I realized it for the first time and it continues to hurt to know that I'll most likely never find the type of friend that I try to be to other people. Such is life I guess.
