It felt good to sleep in today. Yesterday took out a good chunk of energy out of me, more than I had expected to be honest.

I woke up this morning with back pains. Not so cool.

I spent a good hour flirting with someone, and he made me feel really good about myself. It's that after glow that's always so great. Followed by 4 cups of coffee at breakfast and great company, I have to say this morning felt so great.

It's really hard to try and get into the Christmas spirit sometimes when there have been years and years of sad moments and memories in the past. Though, it's been really nice being around others who have made the holidays a bit more cheerful than they are at home. A short post before bed but I took a trip out to Indio/Salton city to visit my old college roomie. This past weekend was the tamale festival and man did I eat well this weekend.
